Urinary Questions
More info for test over Urinary & Reproductive (adjusted from study guide):
- Just like it states on the study guide, be able to identify all structures.
- Know all functions for all organs in both urinary and reproductive systems (from the list in the packets and from where we wrote down the function for the kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, urethra, and nephron)
- Urinary system packet information is fair game.
- The board notes for the urinary system are also fair game for multiple choice or matching, and be sure to know the short answers:
- They are: the path of urine drainage through the body.
- Nephron = (1. Bowman's capsule 2. Proximal convoluted tubule 3. loop of henle 4. distal convoluted tubule) 5. collecting duct 6. papillary duct (renal papilla) 7. minor calyx 8. major calyx 9. renal pelvis 10. ureter 11. urinary bladder 12. urethra
- DESCRIBE the steps of urine formation:
- 1. Glomerular filtration 2. Tubular reabsorption 3. Tubular secretion
